A brief

Brodie has been exceptionally busy and I wanted to throw a post up for her to update on the Alaska life...one she has embraced entirely! She has made many of friends, is in band, taking piano lessons, babysitting (including overnight) neighbors and family friends. We survived the winter..though it was the easiest winter to survive. We got a TON of snow but went through a pretty early break up in January and now we are getting into spring and the sun rising at 7 am and not getting dark until about 10pm. We see Moose ALL the time. And Ptarmigans. And ravens. Christmas Eve we saw the most amazing Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) on display in our front yard. It was perfect. I will try to get her on here to update as soon as possible, hopefully with pictures too...but soon enough she will be driving (you get your permit here at 14) and I'm fairly certain I will never see her again! She's had a ton of fun riding snow machines, 4 wheelers, going cosmic bowling and listening to us boring parents stay on her about her school work. She sends her love....and has her headphones back in to listen to her music! Have a beautiful April!
